Aralia botanically known as Polyscias fruticosa aurea. It is an evergreen mini shrub. Very often the lower stems are without leaves and exposed. The bare stem looks quite pretty. They make excellent indoor mini trees and are very long lived in containers. In temperate climates, Aralia is a very popular and relatively easy-to-grow houseplant.
